Millinery II - IE412 Download Collection

Introducing our newest vintage collection. It can be used to make a variety of cards, home decor or even jewelry. Here are instructions on how to make this lovely hat pin.

  • Print your chosen image on Vintage Workshop's cotton poplin.
  • Cut out the image leaving approximately 1/4” seam allowance. Follow the natural flow of the image. Cut a piece of backing material the same size and shape.
  • Next stitch right sides together by hand or machine leaving an open space (1-1 1/2”) for turning. Turn right sides out.
  • Lightly stuff with polyfil and stitch up the opening
  • Create beaded fringe for the edges by attaching the beaded loops to the pin in the seam. Hide the thread in the seam.
  • Sew a pin back on just above the center of your pin to keep it from flopping.

Simple, easy and quick. Would you like more ideas?
