Wild Blue Amaryllis Postcard Project Note: Be sure postcards are exactly 4" x 6" to meet US Postal mailing requirements. 1. Print your favorite image and postcard back onto The Vintage Workshop's Linen Fabric Sheets. Also, cut a matching piece of heavy interfacing or stabilizer to create stiffness in your postcard. 2.Add your own embellishments to the front image. The flower shown to the right shows how beads can be sewn onto the front image or you can use The Vintage Workshop's Beadlet Embellishment Kit. 3. Place stabilizer piece between the front and back of your postcard and stitch together edges using a satin stitch as shown in the examples. 4. Address your postcard and add a message. Try using a fine point fabric pen. Use a self-adhesive stamp and drop in the mail. Note: If printing on paper, we suggest using card stock or chip board between the front and back of postcard to give it stiffness. Click here to view Postcard Backs collection.
