Thank you for purchasing downloadable images from The Vintage Workshop. Here's how to use your art:
- You can use the files with any program that will allow you to insert, paste or open graphic files. You can open the files with image editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Paint (which comes with Windows,) or you can place your image into a document using a word processing program such as Microsoft Word. If you are using MS Word, just open a new document and go to the Insert menu and select Picture, and you can browse to your image file from there. Most programs have a similar command to place images into a document, which you can resize and print from there.
- You will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and view Click-n-Cut downloads, as well as project instructions (available with many, but not all, downloads.) If you do not have Acrobat Reader or you need an update, you can download it from the Adobe website.
A Word About File Formats
Your images comes in .jpg or .png formats. Sometimes, download collections may also include versions in .gif file formats. We use the .png and .gif file formats to preserve transparency in certain images. Some collections come with images in both the .jpg and .png formats so that you can work with the file that best suits the needs of your project. For example, an image may come with a white background in .jpg format, but it also may come with a transparent background in .png format. These are common formats and are compatible with many programs.
